At alex.com there is a lot of wonderful information you can use as a teacher. I like how it takes the Alabama Course of Study and puts it into words that are simple and easy to understand. It has a lot of resources for teachers. They can look under lesson plans and it takes you to a lot of links that has lesson plans on the subject that you are teaching. It also a link so the student can look along with the teacher and the administrator about the subject area.

The resources takes you to other links so you can go to other places on the internet that allows you expand your lesson plan. The other resources it has is all the different themes such as art, math, science, etc. As a teacher this is a very helpful tool that makes your time on lesson planning small so you can do other things.

As a teacher I will use this site to help me fully understand the Alabama Course of Study. I will also use this site to help me with my lesson planning on the subject area. And as a teacher I will share this sight with the students and their parents so they can get a better understanding of the subject.

I like the feature on the website that helps you with becoming a library media specialist. It tells you the emphasis on reading and general library information. It also has the Alabama Virtual Library which I think is a wonderful tool to share with the students. This site also will help you maintain literacy standards for your classroom.
